1.  the soap is evidence
ky   (03.05.15)
The question is where did it come from after all these years. Who stashed it away and where was it kept. It's an accessory after the fact to keep such important evidence of a serious crime hidden . If the claim is genuine the soap can be analyzed and if it proven, those who kept it should be prosecuted for concealing evidence. I know for a fact that this and much worse happened but there is a lack of existing hard evidence as proof, after all these years.
2. Is anyone surprised?
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.05.15)
Shouldn't be. While the Poles were extremely enthusiastic about the destruction of Polish Jewry, the Nazis had no greater or more willing sympathizers than the Dutch. Disgusting.
3. RJF Soap
Mark Borden ,   Del Mar, USA   (03.05.15)
In the winter of 1945-6 I, and my family were at a refugee camp in Bad Godesberg, near Bonn. I remember seeing a wooden crate with bars of soap bearing the marking RJF. The soap floated on water. It was said that the RJF-meant"Rein Juden Fet" (Pure Jewish Fat). I do not recall how the soap was disposed off, but many people took great offense. The refugee camp was on Rheinallee (possibloy number 26??)
4. To #2 Sarah B.

Sarah B, in Yad Vshem the number of Righteous Among Nations from Poland are 6,494 and from the Netherland 6,351. However, In Poland there were 3,5 million Jews and in The Netherlands 120,000. Thus, except the Danish and the Bulgarian, relative to their number the Dutch saved more Jews during the Shoa. If you are looking for collaborators of the Nazis, you cannot find more willing than the Hungarian, who "helped" to deport 500,000 Hungarian Jews in a metter of two month, and only 10% survived the deportation. What is worst, today unlike Germany, most of the Hungarian refuse to face their part in the Holocaust.
