(3) IDF aircraft each have less than 5 munitions hard-points and each hard-point can only support several hundred kilos so no "bunker-busters," which weigh thousands of kilos. Israel could try to use a tail-gate drop from a C-130, BUT a C-130 would never make it through Iranian defenses. There is even a very high probability that a USA B-52 or B-2 could not survive the Iranian defenses. (4) A ground attack would grind through the Israeli population within a few weeks.(5) If Iran is attacked, it may retaliate militarily causing massive damage to Israel's physical infrastructure, but more likely it could go to the UN and demand the world sanction Israel and destroy its economy. Even if the USA tries to veto (it may just be absent because they took a coffee break), there are ways (created by the USA to punish Russia long ago) to force a vote through over a veto. Israel has "un-friended" so much of the earth, it would not be hard to get severe sanctions through the UN. (6) the BOTTOM LINE that Bibi knows very well is that Israel has no ability to Attack Iran without losing badly.
