the issue at hand is political islam and its use of jihad to advance its cause. israel has no intention to go around the globe to blow up innocent civilians while demanding the implementation of sharia law. all israel wants is to be left in peace. the arabs are incapable of maintaining the minimum of peace. they are war like and provocative and when they pay the price, they shout that it is unfair. self defence is never unfair.

This is an excellent Op-Ed. The arrogance of the Europeans, and the Quartet for that matter, knows no bounds. Israeli diplomats should also address the semantics of these peace proponents. There are those who speak of a "peace Process". This "process" is nothing but a means for academics et.al. to earn a living in furthering such a process. The "Palestinian" people are an invented entity. It was invented and promoted by Arab academics. Unless my memory is seriously at fault,the German government was supposed to be ensuring that UNSC Res.1701 is enforced,even offering German naval patrols.That didn't last long and now Hizbollah is illegally entrenched in Southern Lebanon and armed to the teeth.
