Nazism did not fail to deliver on its promises, but was absolutely successful. Hitler promised to remove the Jews from positions of power and influence in German society, in the arts, finance, science, ethics, etc. etc. The reason the Germans became acquiescent after the war was because they had achieved their war aims, and the tensions caused by their sense of inferiority to the Jews were relieved.

I vividly remember my trip to one of the lesser known concentration camps. My body felt a horrific chill from the suffering of the souls who had been there. Looking around, I saw a man from the local village casually walking his dog on the grounds of the concentration camp, enjoying the spring weather. This to me exemplified the complete lack of understanding by Germans regarding the magnitude of human suffering and devastation that they inflicted. Their so-called remorse rings hollow, like the remorse of a criminal AFTER being apprehended. I wonder how remorseful Germans would be had they won the war? Nobody ever seems to address that. This also highlights the extreme hypocrisy of the world. It's business as usual with Germany, while the entire world seems to feel that out of all the countries on the planet, those Jews need to be boycotted yet again.

Was motivated by two factors: 1. there was nothing that the Jews could do to Germany once the chaos of the first years after its defeat ended. 2. There was money involved. If the Germans were weak and poor then the story could have been different.

The Yishuv had the capacity to hunt down and kill the hundred worse Nazis that escaped justice but did not do this .It would have been far better to train a Few hundred Shoah survivors to do the Task of Justice .
