The PA contributes nothing to peace except perhaps the occasional foiled Hamas attack which is only foiled because it threatens the PA. Meanwhile they have an education system that indoctrinates children with Nazi inspired Jew hatred, they barely function as a government and the only thing they actually work on is an international boycott of Israel. Why the hell does Israel allow this? The only explanation can be that Israel is too scared to deal with with the aftermath of dismantling the PA, which is truly sad. Israel must rediscover its fighting spirit before its too late.

Yet contribute nothing. Erekat is a great example. Full of hot air but does squat for the Palestinians.

the territory of the west bank never belonged to a "palestinian" sovereign. indeed, the land was part of the ottoman empire for five hundred years and was then part of the british mandate set up after the defeat of the ottomans in wwi. the idea that a group of arabs who have declared themselves as "palestinians" can prevent the economic development of the territory of the west bank is risible and immoral.

"possession is 9/10 of the law" doesn't even mean what you think it means. really. but more importantly, israel's claim to judea and samaria is every bit as valid as the arabs, since jews are the aboriginal inhabitants not the arabs, have legal claim by treaties which the arabs don't, and even have the right by conquest because it was taken in a defensive war. the arab claims can be summed up in the paradox: an arab "palestine" has never existed, because arabic doesn't even have a letter "p"! what israel doesn't have is a hope in the court of public opinion, where the arabs have scored big with their narratives of victimhood and perpetual grievance, and their big lies.

Saeb Erakat does not mention that it is the Arab Palestinian residents and neighbors who have worked hard and long to build ALL (but one) of the settlements and guest houses about which he is complains. As always, the Palestinian leadership would rather blame the Israelis for all their own failures rather than look themselves in the eye.
