1. Palestinian violence is natural reaction according to Torah
(01.26.16)
If the Torah says they're Pereh Adam, human beasts, that's their character and it has nothing to do with occupation. The same reason they're violent in France, England, Italy and all over the world.
2. Reward violence and Tel Aviv is next
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (01.26.16)
target. Good luck!
3. The Cause is: Ban
Ed ,   USA   (01.26.16)
If Ban wants to find the cause of Palestinian violence he should look in the mirror. It is people who declare that attacks against Israel are justified who encourage the attacks and diminish whatever prospects their might have been for peace.
4. Isreal a pseudo state
Athar baig ,   Rawalpindi   (01.26.16)
A psudo state created by fruad can not bear fruit . It is to harm humanity.
5. This is "natural reaction" to our incredible lack of will
(01.26.16)
against Arab occupation of our Land!
6. Ban Ban.
Reuven Brauner ,   Raanana, Israel   (01.26.16)
What occupied lands? These are "liberated lands". What sort of "peace-maker" justifies violence? Blaming Israel who is merely defending itself and its population against inhumane random stabbings of innocent people, blaming Israel for "land-grabbing" when all the land was won in 1967 after the Arabs visciously attacked Israel - and lost (!), and creating the impression that the poor Arabs cannot control their own fate, shows how little Ban understands the situation here. As I have said in the past, Israel should, once and for all, quit the UN.
7. Moon
carlos ,   San Diego U.S.A.   (01.26.16)
Values determine norms, as well as attitudes and behavior. Terrorism is unacceptable under any circumstances. Moon is a terrible ignoramus. Not poverty not "frustration" since everybody is frustrated but not everybody kills. It is a disaster that this fellow Moon has that position.
8. TO MR. BAN KI-MOON PERSONALLY !
FO ,   Belgium   (01.26.16)
Do you realize, dear Sir, that everything you said is in total breach with Article 80 of the United Nations' Charter? Yes, indeed, this "famous" institution, YOU are the Secretary-General! If Article 80 is something totally unknown to you, than some help of an eminent jurist (if it at all exists) in the middle of the UN, explaining to you what it exactly refers to, could be beneficial! You will understand, at least I hope so,Dear Sir, that it ALSO refers to the Mandate for Palestine, voted unanimously by ALL the 51 members of the League of Nations. A mandate that gave the Jews, the IRREVOCABLE RIGHT in INTERNATIONAL LAW, to settle anywhere between the Sea and the Jordan River, including the Golan Heights, in order to create their independent state on said territory. All this was reaffirmed by Article 80 of the UN Charter. Once you will have, I hope, assimilated all this, can you please do me a favor, and transmit your new acquired knowledge to your leftist comrades in Israel, who are in an urgent need to refresh their sclerotic minds. Thank you in advance, Mr. Secretary-General.
9. What Occupation?
(01.26.16)
Israel is from jordan river, judea and samaria, sinai, gaza and land up to litani river, this is Israeli territory. Jerusalem undivided capitol. So what are these people hoching about?
10. Arab occupation of Middle East causes violence in Israel
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (01.26.16)
11. #4 All Muslim entities are illegal States
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (01.26.16)
They are provinces of the evil Muslim Caliphate empire and occupy lands that were taken from Natives after massacring them.
12. Ban Kee Moon is obviously paid off by Muslims. He needs to
Rvkh   (01.26.16)
be fired. What an idiot.
13. Palestinians violence
Jon ,   U.K.   (01.26.16)
Reason it's in their DNA like all the violence in the Arab countries Ban proves again what a C..T he is to blame Israel again and nothing said to the Palestinians
14. TO MR. BAN KI-MOON PERSONALLY !

15. The 22-year girl murdered in Sweden...
Beary White ,   Norway   (01.26.16)
...was killed by a 15 year old frustrated muslim asylum-seeker. This is the second murder in a short time. I think Sweden has to get used to it. And the FM Wallstrom is quite silent, she might has got used to it..but are afraid to tell the Swedish population...why she is protecting terrorists...
16. Ban Ki-moon is telling the truth, and you know it
Harri ,   EU   (01.26.16)
Everyone knows that there has never been military occupation without resistance and there never will be.
17. Useless Nations' head incites violence against Jews
C   (01.26.16)
it is beyond outrageous that the head of the un justifies murder of unarmed women by islamist terrorists. the un is a corrupt institution, slave to muslim interests. we do notice that the obama regime is coordinating this daily onslaut on the jewish state.
18. #16 So, why there has not been resistance
Moshe ,   Israel   (01.26.16)
Of the Palestinians against Jordan's occupation of West Bank until Israel liberated it in 1967 ? If you really don't know the answer, read in this article what Netanyahu said about the real Pals' motives for their violence against Israeli Jews.
19. Time to leave the hypocritical UN
Dave ,   Montreal, Canada   (01.26.16)
20. Need a UN with teeth
Mike Ford ,   San Jose, Costa Rica   (01.26.16)
I agree with the last quote from Netanyahu
21. Stop the violance.
(01.26.16)
22. Mr. Ban
Gabe ,   Canada   (01.26.16)
You should remind Jordan to repatriate its abandoned populations since it has relinquished ownership of the West Bank. Live up to your responsibility.
23. Funny, now another Ed
Ed ,   USA   (01.26.16)
Oh well, Ynet has a long tradition of trolls pretending to be someone else. No worries. Ban Ki Moon is absolutely right. And it's true the social media incitement is a huge problem. But the fundamental issue is the lack of a peace process. Good for the UN to tell it like it is, and watch out as the US stops blocking measured resolutions to come.
24. Ban Ki Moon swallows the settlement deception argument
(01.26.16)
Israel has had settlement freezes in the past and it has never led to any change in the Palestinian rejection of Israel. Ban Ki Moon has swallowed the fabricated argument that a freeze on settlements will unlock the peace process. It wont and never ever will as there is a more fundamental barrier to peace which is at core a non acceptance of Israel as a self governing Jewish state by the Palestinian leaders and a large part of the population. Ban Ki Moon has a very superficial understanding of the Middle East peace process and an even lesser understanding of what is needed to unlock it. He only offers platitudes to tried and failed previous attempts
25. territory of west bank is not occupied
C   (01.26.16)
the territory of the west bank of the jordan river is not occupied. this territory has never belonged to any "palestinian" sovereign. the last independent sovereign in that territory was the jewish kingdoms of judea and israel. subsequently, the territory as well as all other territories of the land of israel, were conquered by various imperial powers, the last being the ottoman empire. after the defeat of the ottoman empire by the allied forces in wwi, it came under the authority of the british mandate. at no time was there a "palestinian" sovereign. the jewish state will not cooperate in the establishment of a new arab terror state.
26. Good people need to work to defund the evil U.N.
Chaim ,   Israel   (01.26.16)
The U.N. is worse than worthless. It is destructive. It serves only the interests of tyrants and terrorists. Good people, around the world, need to work together to defund the evil U.N.
27. he is right. tired of genocidal muslim arab occupation of

28. enough of the lie. the arabs occupy my land they are a virus
ralph   (01.26.16)
which must be removed.
29. That's right and always was ,...
split ,...   (01.26.16)
30. Israel Should Annex Area C
Aharon   (01.26.16)
In response, Israel should annex area C. It's clear that Israel can't rely on foreign entities to ensure its security needs are met and must taken action on its own in order to do so. If Israel keeps relying on the international community or the "palestinians" to achieve a peace settlement, it might as well re-name itself Palestine.
