The former territory of Palestine consists of 3 present day entities. Jordan=Arab state Gaza=Arab state Israel=Jewish state So there is a new Palestinian people. Their claims surely do no supersede the ancient Jewish claim. Their state need not exist West of the Jordan, only perhaps an autonomy linked to the East Bank. This is if we want peace rather than Israel under fire for the next century. The One State Solution is not crazy, it could work if Israel finds resolute leaders to implement it. The best possible scenario is a 2 state confederation between Israel and Jordan. One grants Jews citizenship the other grants Arabs citizenship. Both citizen groups are permitted to live anywhere in the confederacy. No population transfer needed, only an Arab willingness to actually make peace.
