Reading the article I think I got it backwards the first time. I was sure this was an interview with Trump's ISRAELI advisor and a possible ISRAELI ambassador to the USA. Friedman never once mentions what is best for US strategic interests; never once mentions his US citizenship or what he's done for America; never once mentions where US and Israeli interests differ and how he would resolve it with AMERICA's interests first and foremost. He comes off as yet another Trump toadie and Israel firster and it would a travesty to even consider this guy for any diplomatic post with Israel.
