1. "Who says they can't" isn't the question.
Eliyahu Konn   (09.24.16)
Which gender is more suited is the question.

The proffering of this situation to make the case is naive or disingenuous.

How do you explain the murder of a woman soldier when it happens and where will you be when women soldiers are taken captive and the abuse that will result?
2. There are problems with women in combat such as jeopardizing
Rivkah   (09.24.16)
the lives of men in combat who compromise their missions to protect the women as happened when Israel first became a State and women were allowed in combat. It cost the lives of too many men, so women were taken out of combat in the IDF. Women lack the bone density of men, so even carrying a heavy backpack and rifle can cause stress fractures in females. Also, the enemy fights harder against IDF units with women in them, not wanting to be defeated by Israeli units with women. The women in the IDF and US Armed Forces don't care that their presence disrupts male bonding and puts the lives of the men in greater danger in combat missions. They don't care but I can assure you that the mothers of the men in the IDF and the US Armed Forces care about their sons being put at greater risk of death by females in the combat units.
3. Love these women!
BUILD BABY BUILD !!!   (09.24.16)
Guts, beauty and brains.
So opposite the Arab mentality.
4. Why do men risk their lives in combat? It is not for the

nation or their families. It is because of male bonding. They die for their buddies they love. Females in combat units disrupt male bonding. Russia in WWII resolved that problem by having all female or all male combat units. Lili Lutvak was an ace fighter pilot in WWII Russia but she was part of an all female combat unit and even the flight mechanics were female. That was workable but to mix males and females in combat units disrupts male bonding, a key ingredient in combat effectiveness.
5. Known in ancient times

Over 2400 years ago, Socrates observed that women may be physically weaker than men, but they match men for courage. Each and every soldier in this unit confirmed it in this incident.
