Israeli wine have come a long way from being described in he 50's and 60's as peasant wines.
They are top notch and first class. Why spend more when a good dry or semi dry wine made in Israel is so much better than many imported expensive wines.
So don't look at the price, a good wine can be had for a few shekels...
