The main reference was to a Conservative MP by the name Duncan and if any of you have ever listened and watched this pompous Arabist you will realise that his intense dislike for Israel is an open sore and nobody of any note gives him much credence other than the Arab nations that he "brown noses" at which he is a great expert.
Plus of course the comment by the Israeli attache was a little indiscreet but it is nothing but the usual rhetoric that is common place and prevalent from the likes of Kerry, Obama and many others in the British establishment toward Netanyahu...remember the snide remark from Obama when he said " I have to deal with him all the time" in response to a French minister.
A storm in the tea cup and as is typical for the Guardian its usual anti Israel fodder.
