What, exactly, are Israeli radars tuned to detect? 747s? Fix the holes in the radar umbrella and put a few Raytheon Phalanx systems in place. The drone threat will be handled and the IDF can get back to real work.

Drones are fun to fly and youngsters love them , especially ones with cameras on . Seriously though , israelis are too busy with their endless and nonsensical bureaucracy to care about any threats .

in order to deal with relatively slow moving drones maybe its an idea to go
back and use "spitfire" and machine gun to take them down...Low tec solution.

Trouble with drones is they can stay up there for a long time making observations and bellow radar which a manned fighter does not so whilst the IAF have plenty of time to scramble because they can fly bellow radar they might be in and out by the time they are detected assuming they are detected.
