2. Awful airline
Shimon ,   London/Tel Aviv   (02.05.17)
Personally I have a home in Israel and fly at least five times a year.
I only fly BA. El Al is expensive, unreliable and to be honest not practical to fly with a large family. The staff are rude and the passengers behave like animals on El Al flights. The same rude Haredi passengers who are abusive and refuse to sit next to women on El Al flights behave like angels on BA. There is the repeat issue of after having booked seats weeks before a flight arriving at the airport and being told the seating has all changed and my 4 children ages 12,10,8,6 all sitting separately next to strangers.
In conclusion what with endless delays and strikes, awful service I chose some years back to never fly El Al again and I haven't looked back.
3. set both men's and women's retirement at 65
Yohanan ,   Jerusalem   (02.05.17)
The Knesset should lower men's age of retirement from 67 to 65 and raise women's retirement from 62 to 65. The Knesset Committee for Advancement of the Status of Woman should be the first to sponsor this bill as feminists claim they want gender equality. Then El Al pilots would then be in line with the international regulations for mandatory retirement at 65. Their chokehold on what was the national airline will then end at 65...
As for the pilots's work disruptions before the age of 65, the Knesset should prohibit exorbitant cash cow workers in state monopolies.
