3. herzog's 10 point peace plan
now you want evidence from the horse's mouth. herzog presented his 10 point peace plan which is a rehash of the mistakes of oslo which has failied miserably.
key features are 10 years of quiet jointly enforced on the west bank. this is absolute rubbish. arabs cannot be trusted on enforceement not just now but forever.
also relies on strong efforts of regional arab allies to hold plo to account. bullcrap-they will do nothing of the kind.
herzog says he will allow palestinians to fully dev elop area c restricitng israelis to exisiting settlement blocs. this gives a reward for nothing.
herzog relies on UN and USA both of whom are uselsss in enforcement.
the main thrust is herzog is afraid of apartheid and an arab majority state. he refuses to see that west bank residents can be voters in a jordan arrangement, or be given stipends to move out.
then herzog says israel will have to invest heavily in palestinian economy and infrastructure. he omits that such a state would be totally dependent on israel and this forever.
In short, herzog's plan would result in the same old- recall peres asking why hamas was firing rockets into israel from gaza when israel vacated lands!!??
This plan of herzog reflects a weak, scared man who is so fearful of demographics that he throws in the white flag of surrender with a ridiculous plan that only would cause dramatically more terror.
You cannot have a fearful pacifist run the state of israel.
Israeliis continue with their aschwitz mentality to be submissive. you have power, and you yourselves contriol security, on joiint bullcrap. you control borders with some depth, not shoelace borders.
herzog is the gasp of the peres group. no matter how many concessions you offer in whatever point peace plan, you will never have peace. it is the arabs who have to make concessioins as trump says. until then you get nothing.
