Why should we care about their jobs? These workers do not care about anyone else's jobs, as seen by their actions today, nor do they care about anyone else's lives, as the ammonia tank is very dangerous to have amongst a crowded urban area. Hard to curry any sympathies when the cause is so selfish and narrow in scope.
