Clearly Irans declared long term goal was to establish a Shia 'Arc of Domination' from Iran to Lebanon and from Yemen to the Horn of Africa

There seems to be alot of chatter recently that might indicate a growing tension between Iran and Hezbollah

Because in fighting for Iran in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Yemen Nasrallah has historically expected that Irans 'payback' would be nothing less than the establishment for Nasrallah of the Islamic Republic of Lebanon' that also included parts of Western Syria with Nasrallah as Supreme Leader

So far Iran is disinclined despite Nasrallahs anger and exasperation to make such a move that might trigger much wider and possibly all out regional conflict but this has not stopped Hezbolllahs insidious chatter and indeed sometimes viscious challenges to Irans final say

So who is setting Irans agenda in the Near East....Iran or Hezbollah?
