1. Attempt to Elevate Obama
MadDad ,   Johannesburg   (04.12.17)
This tardy opinion piece is nothing more than an
attempt to elevate Obamas complete and utter
useless policies to the level where he is used as
the benchmark against which to compare.
Obamas complete and utter failures should be left
where they belong - in the dustbin of history.
It is a no-brainer to expect that the USA respond to
outrageous atrocities committed anywhere in the
world - unlike Obama who played golf while the
Yarzidis faced genocide and ethnic cleansing on Mt Sinjar
reminiscent and unseen since WWII.
2. Spin on, Baby- spin on.....

"The 59 cruise missiles which US President Donald Trump fired at the runways of the al-Shayrat airbase have not changed the face of the civil war in Syria."

Political rhetoric, pomposity and arrogance - I am not aware of any Tomahawk cruise missile fired at the Syrian air base runways; the airport was in service that day. Anti-runway penetration bombs, 1st use of specialized cratering anti-runway weapons was by Israel during the 1967 Six-Day War, are application-specific, but not Tomahawk's.
4. of course, israelis spot such patterns
epo   (04.12.17)
... as this is exactly how their politics work.

5. Obama did bomb Syria
Bernard Spolsky ,   Jerusalem   (04.12.17)
"It's a step Obama was unwilling to take, at least without congressional approval, as Obama elected not to strike Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's regime in 2013 after a chemical attack crossed his "red line."
But Obama did launch airstrikes in Syria a year later, as the US began a military campaign against ISIS in Iraq and Syria. The nearly three-year war against ISIS has led to a steady stream of US bombings from manned aircraft, drones and missiles fired from warships."
6. the wild card

definitely a new era
7. Imbecile Barnea has ulterior motives to remain relevant
Steve Benassi ,   Minneapolis USA   (04.12.17)
8. barnea is the epitome of self hating jewish cynic
jay   (04.12.17)
its difficut to stomach barnea. he doesn't want israel to defend itself but to cut its rhroat with lapid or herzog and depend on arab goodwill and trump to save the poor jew. well poor jew no more. holcocaust as a first teaches jews to be self reliant and to defend themselves by themselves. that means haredi and rabbinc leaders into the idf and no bs permitted, otherwise the leaders need jail and hard time.

trump hit syria and regardless of motive, it was symbolically decisive. compare that with israeli leaders past and present. barak was pathetic in hitting empty fields and doiing nothing to stop terror. sharon was ok but for withdrawal. olmert and livni-bloody disasters and typified weak jews. netanyahu not far behind with his disamal gaza performances. take the bloody gloves off. and bibi like lapid showed no curiosity on how to attack gaza as an option bypassing hamas and choking it to death. likewise he sat back on iran unable to push it. bibi is and was never a leader of warriors. he has never shown it. bennett has it. feiglin has it. saar does not with his preaching to the world, lapid doesn't have it.

hitler and the nazis were destroyed by brutal tactics. idf and the leadership refuses to use such tactics. it has to. there can be guidance. it cannot defeat hezbollah and hamas unless it resports to stealthy brutal tactics. b ennett, galant and feiglin has an idea on what to do. bibi and lapid are clueless and weak leaders.

israel willnot survive and i mean if it continues with bandaid pacifist proportional strategies.

and barnea typifies jewish weakness right through the ages.a nd this submissiveness has gotten jews into perennial trouble.

the haredi have to go into the idf by forcce if necessary. haredi leaders shoujld be jailed for misdirecting the flock.
9. Satellite photos show Saudi Arabia attacked Syria with chemi
Rivkah   (04.13.17)
chemical weapons. If you read the book, "God's War on Terror", by Joel Richardson and Walid Shoebat, you will learn that Saudi Arabia is the Babylon that is destroyed in an hour. The King of Saudi Arabia wants Bashar Assad out of power but his attacks on Syria will backfire when Iran nukes Saudi Arabia back to the stone age as the book shows will happen.
10. No evidence of Syrian chemical attacks exists.
MK ,   NYNY   (04.13.17)
Motives yes, purported justification no evidence.
