The days when Israel was willing to withdraw from the Golan are over. The Syria war has shown that even now the Golan is a very important strategic asset that provides a buffer between Israel and Syria. Without the Golan the war would have spilled over into the Galilee. Even a leftist government is going to have a hard time justifying giving away the Golan in future even if it is for a peace treaty with any post Assad regime.

Send them to Syria if that is what they want....They don't want peace let them enjoy their beloved failed state
