1. Pres Sisi-Please tell Pals about "peace" Israel doesnt need
Alan ,   SA   (05.18.17)
your very well meant advice. The Pals have made their misery stories into their main export. Like Saudi ,U.A.E etc export oil ,they export their misery stories and in return get money and other charity. Even you Pres Al Sisi cant stop the Gaza Republic from murder and mayhem in Sinai. So how difficult will it be to convince them to keep the peace with your Egypt in Sinai (via Gaza) let alone Israel..
They have curled themselves around Israel AND Arab States like a python. You are all victims of the Pals. All Arab States as well as Israel
Thank G-d that a new enlightened young generation of Arab Leaders are emerging in Gulf and North Africa who can see where this "conflict" is going and who want to stop this nonsense as their populations of unemployed swell daily and they too enter the misery that Pals claim to be in.
2. BTW "Peace" doesnt mean sending 4 or5 million Pals to Israel

3. "A chance for peace" with Arabs/Muslims is a chance to lose

your life (for sure). Thank you for the offer, but we'll sit this one out.
4. Where there is a will...Is there a way?
Sammy ,   Newcastle   (05.18.17)
There is no doubting that amongst the majority of Israelis Palestinians and the key actors in Egypt and Jordan the will is there for peace

And as the saying goes where there is a will there is a way. Is there?

What we must admit to ourselves is that DECADES of struggle and whining about so called 2 state solutions have not advanced peace at all…the status quo remains…why?

Simply because the needs of VIABLE Palestinian Statehood and self determination so clearly do not square with the security needs of Israel…and where any peace process therefore could unravel so easily

What we need is BOLD RADICAL FRESH THINKING that shatters the ‘conventional wisdom’

For that we need look no further than the 1999 Palestinian PEG PLAN. A Palestinian Plan conceived by a group of Palestinian Academics for a Palestinian State in an expanded Gaza

A contiguous homogenous geographically and societal unified State with amazing coastline, offshore resources and rich in heritage and history.

Where the planners worked out the amazing opportunities where Palestinians and Palestinian resources converge and mobilized together in one place to build a 21st century Palestinian miracle. New futuristic cities of Ramallah, Jenin, Qalqilya, Tulkarm…rebuilt in PEG from the proceeds of sales of assets in the West Bank and the promise of generous funding of international aid on the basis of so much latent international goodwill
5. Still haven't got a real peace with Egypt or Jordan, so....
Disillusioned   (05.18.17)
A governmental "no war" state isn't peace. It's very well known that in general, the people of both Egypt and Jordan have remained extremely hostile to Israel. While Israelis flock to both countries as tourists, they aren't safe, and there is almost no tourism from either country to Israel. They still hate us and the only thing that keeps them from resuming war is the benefits both get from the USA.... and, of course, their strong grip on power.

If any of their governments fall to the growing fundamentalist Islamists waiting in the wings, the peace treaties will very quickly be useless pieces of paper.

a good peace deal to Arabs would be if all Jews in Israel packed up and returned to their ancestral homeland, E. Europe. wishful thinking. and the occupation of Israel will not make life better for people in Arab ME. Arab leaders use Israel as an excuse to unite it's people and to rule as dictators. the Arab antagonist makes Israel united and strong. a stiff price to pay for survival and prosperity.
7. I urge Sisi not to miss peace with ISIS and Muslim Brothers
