1. There is a solution
Heshy Friedman ,   Brooklyn ny   (06.14.17)
There is a solution. Just don't antagonize the chareidim. Don't draft yeshiva boys and the chareidim won't bother with the soldiers. The more you pick on the chareidim the more reason they will fight back. You don't need chareidim on the army. Let the chareidim be chareidim and live and let live.

3. Soldiers defend with strenght, Chareidim by praying.
Anna   (06.14.17)
I agree with Heshy Friedman.

Soldiers defend eretz Israel with strenght, Chareidim defend by praying,
Both needed.

BTW, it was not just a soldier, like Gideon Jones says above.
I can easily walk with jeans through Mea Shearim, no problem.
Each their own life.
4. I am Haredi and love and respect the soldiers!
Shani ,   Beit Shemesh   (06.14.17)
The people who protest or attack soldiers are not real haredim. The word "haredim" comes from the verse in the Bible "Haredim l'dvar HaShem" (fear/awe of G-d's word). Someone who attacks or hurts a fellow Jew is doing a huge sin and clearly does not fear G-d's words. Those who took part of the violent mob are bullies and just wearing costumes - they are not true G-d fearing people.
Living in Beit Shemesh, a city which is majority haredi, I can tell you the vast majority of haredim are peaceful people and are extremely opposed to any soldier being attacked verbally or physically and would come to the rescue just like this man did.
5. Dozens of Haredi Terrorists neutralized lynching IDF soldier

One law for JewNazis, another law for everyone else, Apartheid.
6. Soldiers on leave typically have their weapons with them.
Incredulous   (06.14.17)
The next time, and there will be a next time, this kind of attack happens, the soldier ought to use his weapon as he is trained to do and eliminate the threat. That should send an umambiguous message to these beasts that attacking service personel in uniform is not and will not be tolerated. Our soldiers risk their lives daily to protect the the people of this country from our sworn enemies. They should never be at risk of harm from those they are sworn to protect. Attack our soldiers at your own peril.
7. Shameful

This is the behavior we have come to expect from Palestinians. Nobody should ever be afraid of lynch mobs in Jewish communities.Thank G-d a righteous man was there among so many who ignored the teachings of Torah and behaved like wild animals.
