Necessary backbone that.

Wise.
2. Lucky us, that they didn't declare general elections on this
(07.21.17)
"complicated " matter! Tough call indeed: to let barbarians rule over us, in our own country or maybe show them confidence building measures??!
3. good
david ,   hadera   (07.21.17)
let the Arabs learn who's in control here
4. Good decision
Haider ,   Gothenburg, Sweden   (07.21.17)
Metal detectors are for the protection of the worshippers 100%. But polis or soldiers carrying and pointing their weapons, like in the last picture in the article, is challenging and stupid.
5. SELECTION
observer ,   Egypt   (07.21.17)
metal detectors are very important;
those who are gifted Definite Atonement and the Divine Decree will pass to Al-Aqsa,
those who will not the excuse of metal detected can practically BE MADE.
6. Metal detectors
Lazerbenabba ,   London, England   (07.21.17)
Please someone explain what offence could be taken against the facility of metal detectors anywhere if that particular place was and is the constant potential and actual danger to all whether Muslim/Christian/or Jew.
In the UK and elsewhere including places of worship (especially where there is a large Muslim contingent), entertainment, airports are all subject to intensive security...and for why?
Because of the lunatic Jihadi menatlity and hatred expressed by other factions that have their only wish to create death and destruction.
The absurd false emotion expressed by Abbas, Jordan's King(sic) and the rest of the Islamic community are now frustrated that another avenue of Pal insurrection is being stymied.
7. Good. Who knows how many weapons & other contraband
Rafi ,   US   (07.21.17)
have been smuggled into and hidden in the mosques on the Temple Mt?

As everyone knows, metal detectors are ubiquitous in today's daily life - including at many houses of worship around the globe... Why should the Temple Mt/ Haram al-Sharif be exempt?

A totally reasonable decision - Waqf and other reactions are conversely unreasonable.
8. Israeli govt. stood up to blackmail. Congratulations!
Chaim ,   Israel   (07.21.17)
Hopefully, we will start a permanent trend of standing up to "Palestinian" blackmail, instead of caving to it. Congratulations!
