When the Islamic Waqf claims that Israel is trying to alter the status quo it is LYING.

The status quo agreement of 1967 gave RELIGIOUS sovereignty to the Jordanian Islamic Waqf but OVERALL sovereignty stays with Israel and rhat includes security being in ISRAEL'S hands.The Waqf might ibhect to that but it is the status quo..

It seems to me that it is the ISLAMIC WAQF that is attenpting to change the status quo using mendacity and violence.It is attempting to grab overall as well as religious sovereignty over the Temple Mount.That must be resisted.
