"Personally my life" may seem good without the Temple and God's Presence visible for all to see... but it's an illusion.
Being blind to God's presence means forgetting what we're here for, being content to live like clever animals, enjoying our physicality and ignoring our higher purpose.
At first it seems that living without God in our lives will not interfere with leading moral lives, but in the end, we fall to the level of the Gemara cited here. As Avraham Avinu said, if there is no fear of Heaven, murder will soon follow. History is full of proofs of this.
7. Complete rubbish.

No part of Israeli society owns any part of any blame for the hatred. The hatred comes from the Muslims, first and last. How long have Muslims been killing Jews because they were Jews? It's been about 1400 years now. It's unfounded, irrational, and insane, but it comes from the Muslim camp, and ONLY from the Muslim camp.
