israel will annex part of lebanon in the next war coming should lebanon unite behind hassan. israel will not only occupy but actually annex the southern part after clearing out civilians.

hezbollah has tanks in case the idf doesnot wake up. it also will fire 5000-10,000 rockets per day, for the first few days and not 1500 that the idf expects. the idf is clearly out of touch. it is no wonder when it has been led by golan gantz and yaalon, the 3 who worried more about israelis excesses than hezbollah. the 3 also did a lousy job in the gaza campaign.

idf has to switch to ariel sharon style smashing of the adversary. under hezog style bibi and a succession of defense ministers and chief of staffs from peretz to ehud barak and yaalon, and with halutz and golan and gantz, idf has been doing bandaids and proportional responses which won't work for a small country in the middle eastern sea.

idf needs to go in and concquer, take lands and positions. that is what is understood. also the idf should equalize terror by acquiring putin style land to land rockets whccih it has avoided doing.

liebrman can go off with themouth, that is ok so long as he ensures the idf is prepared. and the idf should not be trained to be fearful of the next outbreak. rabbis need to be brought in to inculcate the troops about ancient and modern israel.
