1. Please help me!DID AYONE SEE ANY REPORT OF ""BOYS ON BBC
Alan ,   SA   (02.10.08)
2. They will be ignored ....
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (02.10.08)
After all, they're only citizens, not important people like Knesset members & their friends & supporters. Citizens are just an annoyance, to be ignored as much as possible. Sderot? Kassams? Security? Make a speech & tell them anything, maybe they'll go away. As for the rest of the Israeli citizens, they're so apathetic & self-centered, they won't make a fuss. As long as it isn't happening to them, they don't really care.
3. Disgusting
Freejay ,   Israel   (02.10.08)
Its disgusting that Olmert doesn't care about the people of Sderot, or even the rest of Israel. What he is doing is criminal negligence and this inept man must be dragged out of government, kicking and screaming if needed be. He also must face trial for his treason towards the state of Israel. This man has alot of blood on his hands, and still alot more to come (releasing criminals and supplying weapons to terrorists) even if he is ejected from the Knesset.............don't let him get away with it. My heart goes out to the brave people of Sderot.....ang in there! Olmert/ Barak will pay te price!
4. I Know What To Do
Reuven Brauner ,   Raanana, Israel   (02.10.08)
The Israeli Government's continued inaction in failing to defend Sderot and other places is nothing short of immoral and irresponsible. Every member of Mr. Olmert's cabinet must bear responsibility for what is happening there. They are all at fault for their apathy. They claim that they do not know what to do to stop the Kassams. I know. The solution is very simple. Bomb Gaza day and night without stop.
5. I admire the people of Sderot
Sidney ,   USA   (02.10.08)
Unfortunately they have a government that lets them die.
6. Sderot Protest
John ,   REchovot Israel   (02.10.08)
When the 1st Kassam falls on Herzlia Pituach /Zahala /Ramat Aviv G ( As it surely will), Then & only then will these "apologies for Leaders" finally DO something!!
7. We should be with them!
Aviela ,   KochavYaakov, Israel   (02.10.08)
The rest of us should be with the protesters from Sderot and woe be to the police officers that berate them! Too bad the only people that count are the wealthy. G-d doesn't look at your house, car or investment folder.
8. Impotent Politicians
Dan ,   Florida USA   (02.10.08)
While impotent politicians parade around saying "Harumph-Harumph" people are under atttack from an enemy and a little boy had his leg amputated. In WWII we willingly walked into the gas chambers and today we willingly allow ourselves to be slaughtered by rockets from Hamas who has sworn the destruction of Israel. Wake up Politicians and understand that the Palestinians Muslims want us DEAD. They want to murder us en masse. They have NO desire for a diplomacy. The only way to win a war is to FIGHT THE DAMN WAR and retake Gaza pushing the Palestinian Arabs back into Arab lands. If they believe in Allah as they say, I am sure Allah will provide for them.
9. To #7 Aviela - So why aren't you in Sderot?
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (02.10.08)
10. Keep Marching - Let the Quaking Begin
YS ,   Negev   (02.10.08)
11. Massada = Sderot = Till the Finish
ana ,   Eretz Yisrael   (02.10.08)
12. No Other Country Would Tolerate This
Dave Levy ,   Burbank, CAUSA   (02.10.08)
To Reuven: If Israel does as you say, it will anger the Big 4 (US) included), UN, EU, Arab League and Hamas. Israel has had the ability to wipe out the entire Palis society for decades, yet, for obvious reasons hasn't taken that route. It could level Gaza Ctiy or any other Arab city within minutes. But oh that collateral damage. Israel is cutting 5% of utilities, and already the world is screaming. This is why Israel cannot act decisively. Its very clear. Sderot and others are paying the price for all of this. First were the children throwing stones..then pipe bombs and Molotovs, then thousands of Kassams and katys. What next? Sooner or later Israel will have to act.. The Palis are using the death of 1,000 cut strategy. It's working. Until Israel punishes the Palis seriously, this will continue, I am ashamed to say. No other country would tolerate even one Kassam, not to mention 7,000.
13. To #1: Alan - I did not see anything om BBC, CNN, Sky or FOX
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (02.10.08)
Alan, why the hell should they care about Jewish kids? We don't have oil and we all know that "Jews are expendable" in the eyes of the world and particularly those of the British. However, please look at the BBC World Web Site. There is a full report there. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/7237206.stm I am not an extreme right winger but our own Prime Minister is totally apathetic to what the people of this country think and its time he and his Government were called into account by the people of this country. Two kids have been hurt. One nearly died! Our kids are not expendable, Mr. Olmert and General (Rt) Barak! Why are there no demonstrations in the North or in Tel Aviv in support of the South? Even the opposition is apathetic! Why hasn’t Netanyahu (I am not a Likud supporter) organized rallies all over the country? Where are those folks from the Ehud Ha Leumi and Israel Beitainu? Where are Lieberman and Uri Ariel. Ok, we all know that Meretz is more worried about the Arabs than our kids! The apathy of our MK’s and leaders proves once and for all that they are just self-seeking politicians who care more about their seats in the Knesset than the people who they are supposed to represent!
14. To #4 Reuven - Here Here!!!!!
We the People ,   The Galiliee, Israel   (02.10.08)
These barabrians elected and support Hamas and are thus also terrorists and fair targets! Bomb the hell out of them!!! You hurt out kids, we will make your lives a living hell! The time has come for the Jewish "Jihad" against terrorism. We don't need suicide bombers we have the IDF! The time is NOW!
15. What is disgusting is the criminals in high places
J.sherri ,   Israel   (02.10.08)
World tribunals for crimes against humanity NOW!
16. shederot residents
sas ,   israel   (02.10.08)
THEY SHOULD HAVE DOMONSTRATED IN FRONT OF OHLMERT'S PLANE AND NOT LET HIM LEAVE THE COUNTRY.
17. The enemy is Hamas, not the government
robin ,   israel   (02.10.08)
We are systematically bombing Gaza every day. We are being criticized by the whole world for closing Gaza. We are criticized for creating a humanitarian crisis. I live near Kyriat Shmona and suffered during the war; my friend lost her son. We never stormed the prime minister's office. We never complained, not because we didn't care, but because we are at war with the ARABS. Do the protesters in Sderot have an alternative plan? Do they have a plan at all? Are they willing to take on the entire world too?
18. Silly Israelis...
onceazionist ,   USA   (02.10.08)
You are just like most Americans- never taking any action and ALWAYS blaming the government... DO SOMETHING!! You cry and complain in these talkbacks about how horrible and negligent your government is from your comfortable and secure homes in Tel-Aviv, J'lem, Haifa and the north, yet fail to be proactive in the least! You are just as guilty as your leadership...shame on you!
19. Sderot Protest
Joe ,   Israel   (02.10.08)
Where was Sderot #1 citizen, Amir Peretz when his neighbors protested enraged?

22. all 25,000 of you should march on the knesset
chaim ,   brooklyn n.y   (02.10.08)
not enough 'all 25,000 sderot residents should march up to jerusalem, acompanied with hudreds of thousands more, and storm the knesset, and drag out that criminally insane traitorous criminall gangster who masquarades as prime minister, and put him on trial for high treason and if found guilty,do to him what the citizens of france and italy, did to their traitors after world war two
23. POLICE AND IDF MUST CHOOSE NOW ! THE PEOPLE OR PM
David   (02.10.08)
24. While we listen the microphones of our enemies
Keren ,   Israel-SP   (02.10.08)
shouting their weird, mortal prayers throughout Yirushalaim ,our land,5 times a day,to be heard and to annoy our Yerudim, our Yehudim ,again, are left like ducks to be killed by these same enemies chanting death inclusively among us. Only a dog of a prime minister can stand and let such a thing going on. PS: the picture of the guard tying the throut of the man from Sderot on the picture,of course it is not a Jew. Many policeman in Yerushalaim are arabs, and by so , I assume, enemies. This must be fully realized once and for all.
25. #17 - WRONG!
Reality Check ,   BaGolan   (02.10.08)
We have 2 enemies, hamas and the PM. Olmert and his cronies are more concerned with covering up their own corruption and bowing to foreign entities - including Mubarak - then they are in protecting Israelis. Both hamas and Olmert have proven just as deadly to our citizens. Sderot is the perfect example
26. More protection for the PMO than Sderot
Reality Check ,   BaGolan   (02.10.08)
27. MOVE!
Reality Check ,   BaGolan   (02.10.08)
Time to move the Knesset and the PMO to Sderot until proper action is taken to protect our citizens
28. ITS ABOUT TIME!!!
ELi Freedman ,   Toronto, Canada   (02.10.08)
I said it before and this is a great START!! The citizens of ALL Israel MUST take this to the streets, Mass demonstrations, close the roads, close Jerusalem, do what must be done, to get this "Criminally negligent" Gov. to respond!! 7 years of inaction, thousands of Qassams, thousands of residents leaving. When are you going to WAKE UP!!?? What will it take to get the citizens to react to the abadonment of Sederot?? Take the initative, at the grass roots level, blockade the roads, refuse to serve in the Reserves, refuse to pay taxes, BY WHAT EVER MEANS NECESSARY!! What is the difference between Sederot or Tel-Aviv?? NOTHING...!!!
29. Sderot residents protest
Tony ,   Ireland   (02.10.08)
For any government, ensuring the security of it's citizens is paramount. I can't understand why the Israeli government are so passive in the face of these daily attacks on Sderot. Part of me hopes that your government are in the process of putting a plan together that will do something about these daily attacks, but everyday all I read about is more attacks on Sderot. If your government has a plan then I hope they put it to action sooner rather than later. In the meantime my heart and support goes out to all the people of Sderot and Ashkelon and especially to the family of the little boy who was seriously injured on Saturday. I wish him and his brother all the best. Keep up the pressure on your political leaders and hopefully they will use whatever means necessary to defeat or counter-attack against those terrorists who are shelling you every day.
30. shderot residents
sad ,   israel   (02.10.08)
they should have blocked the runway so that ohlmert would not be able to fly to germany and be wined and dined here when we are being tortured here.
