Canadian Justice Minister Irwin Cotler lost in his quixotic table tennis match against Menahem Stein, the Israeli Masters champion, 3-1. Cotler fared better in doubles, ending tied at 3-3.

The Moldovan basketball coach will face the Maccabiah discipline committee on Monday. The coach refused to leave the basketball court after he was removed during the game against Brazil, in the competition for fifth through eighth place. The judges stopped the game after the refusal. The game's result will be set on Monday as well.
