Annan: Decision on when ceasefire will come into force to be made on weekend




UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan said that he will determine with the sides over the weekend when the ceasefire will come into force.

 

He added that UNIFIL's mission was more difficult and dangerous, to make sure that no vacuum is created between the IDF's withdrawal and the deployment of the Lebanese army. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
