Hundreds mark 50th anniversary of Kfar Kassem massacre




Hundreds of residents and Meretz activists convened in Kfar Kassem to mark the 50th anniversary of the massacre committed by Border Guard officers against residents who were unaware of a curfew imposed on the village.

 

Kfar Kassem Council head Sammi Issa said that "the massacre is a painful incident, not only to the village, but to anyone." According to him, the social and economic situation nowadays is worse than genocide. (Roee Nahmias)
