Livni welcomes Quartet's decision against Hamas




Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni welcomed the Quartet's decision, which calls for strengthening the moderate forces in the Palestinian Authority against the radical forces and the terror groups. The decision, which was passed on Friday, also calls on the Hamas government to recognize Israel.

 

In a statement, Livni said that the decision represents the international demand to denounce terror and violence, recognize Israel and honor previous accords, including the road map peace plan. (Ronny Sofer)
