Peres: No corruption charges against Olmert have been proven




Vice Premier Shimon Peres defended Prime Minister Ehud Olmert Thursday saying that none of the countless corruption charges leveled against Olmert in the past few months have been proven.

 

“We must return to balance and responsibility. I support an uncompromising war on corruption, but we cannot concede public figures' innocence until they are proven guilty,” Peres said. (Ronny Sofer)
