Italian foreign minister arrives in Damascus

Italian Foreign Minister Massimo D'Alema has arrived in the Syrian capital, Damascus. D'Alema is scheduled to meet with President Bashar Assad, and Foreign Minister Walid Muallem. They will discuss the situation in Lebanon, among other topics. (AFP)
