Half of Arab community centers in danger of closure

Over half the community centers affiliated with the Arab and Druze sectors are in danger of closing down, claimed coordinators of these centers during a meeting in southern Israel.

They said that regional authorities do not transfer sufficient funds to run the centers, due to budget problems. There are 30 active community centers in Israel aimed at serving the Arab and Druze communities. (Anat Bereshkovsky)
