Winograd Commission's final report to deal with claims on Israel's war crimes




The Winograd Commission's final report will address the claims that Israeli committed war crimes during the Second Lebanon War, according to a letter sent by the committee's chairman to Knesset Member Zahava Gal-On (Meretz) and obtained by Ynet.

 

Gal-On had appealed to retired Judge Eliyahu Winograd in a demand to "probe the violation of international law during the Second Lebanon War by the Israeli government." (Aviram Zino)
