MK Taha: Reprimanding Lieberman will encourage similar statements

MK Wasil Taha (Balad) responded to the Ethics Committee's decision to reprimand Minister for Strategic Affairs Avigdor Lieberman for passing a note to Taha which read, "Too bad Hamas hasn't dealt with you."

"An explicit threat on the life of a Knesset Member from a minister is a very dangerous and serious thing," Taha said on Wednesday, "A reprimand will not deter similar statements in the future, but will encourage public representatives to act and express themselves in a worse manner in the future.".
