Diplomat: Iran sanctions vote now expected Monday

The United Nations Security Council is expected to vote on Monday on a resolution imposing a third round of sanctions on Iran over its nuclear program, a Western diplomat said on Friday.

The resolution will be put into its final form later on Friday "for a vote on Monday morning," the diplomat said, speaking on condition that he was not identified. Western diplomats had earlier said the vote would probably be held on Saturday. (Reuters)
