White House objects to Bush-Olmert-Abbas meeting

The White House issued a statement saying that now is not the right time for a trilateral meeting between President George W. Bush, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

Bush is due in Israel next week in the framework of the Jewish state's 60th anniversary celebrations. (AP)
