Barak, Egypt's intelligence chief discuss Gaza truce




Defense Minister Ehud Barak and Egyptian Intelligence Chief Omar Suleiman convened at Barak's house in Tel Aviv on Monday to discuss the Egyptian proposal for a truce in Gaza, drafted jointly with Hamas and the other armed factions.

 

Suleiman is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni later Monday. (Roni Sofer)
