Olmert's lawyer: Trial will begin when Talansky testifies




Attorney Eli Zohar, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's lawyer, said during a Supreme Court hearinf that key witness Moshe Talansky had agreed to return to Israel to deliver his testimony, "not to mention the fact that his family is in the country."

 

Zohar added that "the moment he testifies, the trial will begin. At the end of the day, we will be under an inappropriate, impossible and unjustified investigation." (Aviram Zino)
