3 Qassams, 3 mortar shells land in western Negev

Three Qassam rockets and three mortar shells were fired from northern Gaza towards Israel on Thursday. No injuries or damage were reported.

The first salvo was fired late Thursday morning. One Qassam rocket landed near a kibbutz south of Ashkelon and another one landed near a kibbutz in the Sha’ar Hanegev Regional Council.

 

A mortar shell landed near the Nahal Oz area. None of the incidents resulted in injuries or damage.

 

A short while later, another Qassam rocket exploded in an open area south as well as two mortar shells. No injuries or damage were reported.

 

On Wednesday, a mortar shell caused damage to a kibbutz home in the western Negev. The residents of the house heard the explosion of the first shell and ran to the shelter.
