Medvedev warns Georgia against inflaming Caucasus tensions
The Kremlin says Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has warned his Georgian counterpart about inflaming troubles in the South Caucasus. The statement indicates Russia aims to lay the blame on Georgia for rising tensions in two separatist regions. Separatist leaders in Abkhazia and South Ossetia claim Georgia is preparing to try to regain control of the regions by force. (AP)
