IDF kills infiltrator of Syrian border; apparently drug-related




An IDF force shot and killed an infiltrator that was identified near the Syrian border in the Golan Heights. Another infiltrator was injured and evacuated to the hospital.

 

The IDF stated that one of the infiltrators was shot because he was armed. A large amount of illegal drugs was found at the scene. Police also apprehended two Israelis from Majdal Shams after 15 kg of heroin and cocaine were found on their persons. (Hanan Greenberg and Ahiya Raved)
