Soldier arrested for suspicion of opening fire in Haifa neighborhood

Haifa Police officers have arrested a 19-year-old IDF soldier for allegedly opening fire in the northern city's Halisa neighborhood. The soldier told investigators he was "only checking" his rifle when it fired accidentally.

Police said a 15-year-old boy was also taken in for questioning in the case. (Ahiya Raved)
