Suicide blast in Pakistan northwest kills 2

At least two people were killed in a suspected suicide attack in northwestern Pakistan on Friday, officials said.

The blast occured at a police checkpoint in Orakzai agency, one of seven federally administered tribal areas, seen as a haven for al Qaeda and Taliban militants. "The death toll may rise further," an administration official said. It is the second such attack in Orakzai in recent weeks. (Reuters)
