Cancer (June 21 - July 22)
Cancer is the sign of history, memory and money
Cancer is the sign responsible for domestic-related issues, such as family, food, and care. In addition, it is the sign of history, memory and money. Islam and the Arab world truly represent the cancer sign, because the Arab culture is based on memory, history, and fantasy.
Cancerians are usually subdued and shy. Therefore, the sign does not include many celebrities (as opposed to Gemini, Leo, and Sagittarius).
Work and career
Cancerians work hard because financial security is important to them. They are inclined to involvement in finances, tourism, insurance, care, teaching, food, architecture, technology, the military, and sports.
They are independent and strive for individuality, and there is also an esthetic aspect to their work. They may have two jobs. Cancerians view work as a social event, and therefore befriend their coworkers. They are competitive and always strive to be first.
Home, parents, and family
The beauty and esthetics of the home are important to Cancerians. The father is a fighter-type individual. He is talented, stubborn, pragmatic, and economic. He may be in the military. On an authentic level, the Cancerian's parents represent harmony, but there may be some serious problems in their relationship. The mother is more easygoing, energetic, strong, and often encouraging.
Relationships
The relationships are long-term, because Cancerians do not like breakups and have a hard time changing an existing situation or going in entirely new directions. Anything new frightens them. Meeting someone older or getting back together with someone from the past is a possibility. Meeting someone under professional or family-related circumstances is also a possibility, as well as unplanned pregnancies or marriages at a mature age. The relationships are characterized by shyness, and a lack of spontaneity and openness. Breakups are a trauma for Cancerians, and they are completely changed by them psychologically.
Children
Children of Cancerians, who sometimes appear in the later stages of the Cancerian's life, are stubborn, compulsive, difficult, and physically and mentally mature for their age. The relationship between the Cancerian and his children may include dynamics of destruction and rebuilding. An aspect of guilt, criticism, and admonishment also exist in the relationship. Some secrecy or discretion that is important to the children or the relationship is possible.
Sexuality
Despite their shyness, Cancerians possess a kind of understanding and openness regarding sex. Platonic friendships may become intimate, and vice versa. Cancerians have irregular thoughts about sex, and have a need to openly express their sexuality and emphasize their sexual drive (Pamela Anderson, for example).
Siblings
Cancerians' relationships with their siblings are characterized by dependency, victimization, sacrifice, and lack of communication. However, they also entail a deep unspoken bond. Getting hurt or losing a sibling is a possibility. At times, there is simply a sense of disappointment from one of the siblings.
School, travel and outlook on life
Problems and failures in school. A mystical and spiritual outlook on the one hand and a practical outlook on the other are possible as well. Cancer also has a religious aspect to it; mystical experiences, in faraway lands or while traveling to exotic destinations, are possible. At times, behind the Cancerians’ rigidity hides a confused and unclear outlook on life.
Health
Possible sensitivities: Eyes, blood sugar level, uterus, chest, calf, blood cycle, breathing and lungs, hip, lower back, liver sensitivity.
Judicial situations
Pertinent to Cancerians' jobs, health, and relationships. Lawsuits pertaining to esthetics are possible.
Fashion
Shy, and conservative. Mature, somber, and concealing attire.
Outlook on death
Cancerians are attracted to death, which is subconsciously connected to love.
Outlook on religion and divinity: Search for religious harmony alongside rebellion and heresy. Spirituality at an early age or among the children is possible.
Outlook on the past and future
Cancer is the past, which is considered more harmonic and esthetic. The future is frightening and threatening; it forces changes.
Sense of time
Cancerians relate time to relationships and esthetics. The Cancerian strives for immediacy; time is a battlefield.
Concessions, sacrifices, delusions, and hardships
Sense of sacrifice, delusion, failure, and confusion regarding school and worldviews.
