Scorpio (Oct. 23 - Nov. 21)

Scorpios are characterized by cycles of destruction and rebuilding

Scorpios are characterized by cycles of destruction and rebuilding, an ability for survival and renewal; sexuality, money and psychological depth; skills in providing treatment in medical and spiritual matters; very quiet and lots of secrets. In short, the X-Files are probably full of Scorpios.

Hidden inside every Scorpio is a policeman or agent of the CIA or Mossad waiting to come out (That is if the Scorpio isn’t already working in this capacity.). Scorpios spend most of their time in interrogations and do not accept things on face value. There is something compulsive about Scorpios. They are suspicious and vengeful and give little credit to human nature. Scorpios feel betrayed, deceived, and they experience humiliations, but they rise from the ashes like a phoenix.

Hillary Clinton is a Scorpio who was forced to endure the endless humiliation stemming from her husband’s infidelities. Sara Netanyahu, an Israeli Scorpio, was the subject of media attention after her husband, Benjamin Netanyahu, rushed to the media to tell that someone had particular videotape of a personal nature that could prove embarrassing to him. The curious Sara was also caught on camera during a flight peeking at classified documents in which her husband, who was then prime minister, was browsing.

Demi Moore and Leonardo DiCaprio are two Hollywood Scorpios: Moore was photographed nude while pregnant on the cover of Vanity Fair and also starred in the film “Striptease,” which as a 1996 box-office flop was a professional embarrassment for her. Scorpios are linked to depths and DiCaprio, who was born on November 11, “drowned” with the Titanic in the film of the same name.

Scorpios are associated with money and among the wealthiest people in the world, such as Microsoft founder Bill Gates and CNN founder Ted Turner. Scorpio is also a sign of change and there is no debate that Gates and Turner, with Microsoft and CNN, changed the world.

Career and work

Scorpios are competitive and want to be number one the workplace. Because they are willing to fight for this, there will be clashes and conflict at work, as well as criticism of the boss. If the Scorpio is himself the boss, he will be heavily criticized.

Jobs in the military, security, intelligence, high-tech, sports, electronics, and police are characteristic of Scorpios, but working with children and youth, providing psychological and medical care, special education and social work are other possibilities. The Scorpios’ ambition and ability for invention and improvisation brings them to positions in management, authority and politics. Recognition of this will come gradually and at a mature age. There is also a dualism at work or simply two central professions.

Home and family

Scorpios undergo some complex experiences related to home and family. They have sudden breakups and separations or regular disturbances in relations, mainly in connection to the father. Sudden and unplanned changes of residence and perhaps a preference to live in a non-traditional place are other characteristics.

The mother is strong and dominant, perhaps controlling, but she still gives a feeling of freedom and exerts great influence on the Scorpio’s worldview.

Love and relationships

Scorpios want calm, solid and quiet relationships that are perceived as part of their economic arrangement (For Scorpios, Taurus is in the 7th house – the house of marriage.). They are attracted to complex types, even though Scorpios are stubborn and inflexible in relationships. They feel like victims in relationships, and are possessive and jealous. The desire for emotional totality creates many marital problems. A collapse in a relationship may occur and deep disappointment or, God forbid, illness and loss of a partner. In any case, Scorpio feels like a caregiver and psychologist in relationships and marriage.

Scorpios do not know how to break up and continue in complicated emotional situations for long periods of time. Self-destruction in relationships can also occur. Scorpios find themselves in love scandals related to job and career.

Health

Sensitive areas for Scorpios include sexual and reproductive organs, kidneys, thyroid gland and lungs. They need to be aware of zinc and iron levels in the body. They are susceptible to headaches and breathing problems and should be careful in sports because it could lead to health problems.

Children

Scorpios have a paradoxical view of children - on one side love, giving and an absence of boundaries; on the other authority and stubbornness. Children can come at a relatively mature age for Scorpios with twins a possibility.

Money and possessions

These are important to Scorpios and contribute to the ego and improve at a later age as status is achieved. There is an inclination toward gambling (casinos) and speculation (stock market). Gemini in the 8th house suggests loans, black market and economic manipulations. Scorpio can profit from matters of law, justice and sport. An economic connection or related jealousy toward siblings is also possible. Scorpios will have business partners, and will experience downs or disappointments with them.

Thought, learning and travel abroad

Scorpios can feel at home on trips to distant places. There is a tendency for trips for family reasons. The Scorpio worldview at its base is one of care giving and psychology, but also down to earth and financial. Studies at an older age are possible or studies in the framework of work or from an adult figure. The learning process for Scorpio is slow and gradual. The thought is logical and orderly but there are flashes of inventiveness and unconventional improvisation.

Sexuality

Scorpios are linked directly to sexual energy. They are attracted to young partners and have a need for sexual variety. A situation of two sexual partners during the same period of time may also occur.

Siblings

Relations with siblings are complicated. Scorpios can feel jealousy or betrayal from a brother or sister (usually over a financial matter) or vice versa.

Legal matters

Legal issues may occur related to money, possessions, land, real estate and territory, as well as in the leaking or theft of information. A legal issue can arise due to health reasons, confusion and absentmindedness. Lawsuits related to children, love or authority also possible.

Dress and fashion

Solid and humble dress that is somewhat conservative. Clothes serve as a disguise, concealing and blurring identity. Because Scorpios’ fashion sense tends to make them appear fat, they should make an effort to improve their clothing tastes and understand what really works for them.

Attitude toward death

Mystical with a variety of opposing viewpoints.

Attitude toward religion

Scorpios are characterized by a tendency for taking extremist positions in secular, spiritual or mystical views, but not orthodoxy. Religion is connected to economic and materialistic aspects of life, as well as to knowledge and learning.

Attitude toward the future

Scorpios understand the past is also the future. They want to cut themselves off from the past.

Perception of time

Time is flexible. Scorpio has two different time systems or grasps time in two dimensions. With Leo in the 10th house, time is connected to management, authority and leadership. Time is a resource that enables control. Scorpio wants time to respect him, and to have enough time for his needs.

Sacrifice, confusion, illusions and difficulties with objectivity

Because Libra is in the 12th house, illusions, self-sacrifice, confusion, loss and missed opportunities appear in relationships or with partners. Problems and losses related to leadership and management also likely. Authority and leadership create mechanisms of denial and self-sacrifice. Children are also linked to an unrealized illusion and ambivalent relations. Ideal love is not realized. There is a sense of missed opportunity or lost love in life.
