Pisces (Feb. 19 - March 20)
Pisces is the sign of chaos, manifesting itself through creative endeavors
By YARON LIVNE
Pisces is the sign of chaos, which manifests itself through creation, acting and music, empathy and forgiveness, but also through dependency, identity loss, addiction, confusion, and complications.
Pisces is also the sign of eternity and cycles. Pisceans are creative and can form an identity and character through acting, but do not know how to disconnect and separate.
Music often replaces chatter and communication. Indeed, communication difficulties, a sense of sacrifice, and a relinquishment dimension can be seen in the biblical Moses, former Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, and former Russian leader Mikhail Gorbachev.
Pisces is also the sign of monasticism, asceticism, and purity, and is associated with myths of sacrifice, such as the biblical story of Abraham’s binding of his son, Isaac, or the crucifixion of Jesus.
Asceticism notwithstanding, some beautiful Pisces women such as Sharon Stone, Cindy Crawford, and Elizabeth Taylor have made a name for themselves worldwide.
Pisces is the Chinese tao of silence, passivity, and the natural flow of life without unnecessary movements. Pisceans experiences godliness mystically and is unwilling to accept the orthodoxy’s intermediation.
Finances
Pisceans aspire for maximal financial independence. Finances are related to relationship matters and may be a consideration in selecting a life partner. Finances are also connected to foreign countries and to partnerships.
Home
Taking pride in the home and liking it are important. Changes of residence are not uncommon, and living in two places simultaneously is also possible.
Parents
The mother is usually dominant, creative, demanding, possibly domineering, and would tend to set the philosophical and ideological tone at home. She is also likely to be esthetic and pay attention to her physical appearance.
The father is duller than the mother, critical, but also friendly and open. Detachment from older people or the parents is possible.
Relationships and love
Past loves are common here. On the one hand there is a caring attitude of concern, yet on the other hand we see infidelity, mistrust, and destruction processes.
Self-destruction within relationships and attraction to introverted, difficult, and critical characters are common to this sign. Love and courting at the workplace also are a possibility.
Career and work
The career path could be related to foreign countries, nature, scenery, horses and other animals, but also to law, import/export and academics. A desire to establish a reputation and enjoy high esteem is also common.
Pisceans do not wish to work hard, but want to be credited for good work, and sometimes even succeed in doing so. They also desire plenty of freedom and autonomy at work.
Job opportunities include the hotel industry, fashion or kitchen design, perfumes, and cosmetics. Care taking, medical, and psychological careers are also possible, as is education-related work, social work, or working for the police or secret organizations.
Attitude to society
Idealistic attitude, with a tendency to volunteer, coupled with a sense of sacrifice. Pisceans do not know how to separate and tend to face complications when it comes to relationships.
Brothers
They have concerned and caring attitudes, are naturally introverted and possibly homebodies, but are also practical and somewhat stubborn. Brothers always remind Pisceans of their past and identity.
Foreign countries and school
Secret connections abroad and a run-in with the law are possible. Academic studies are accompanied by cycles of destruction, construction and renewal, also coupled with secrecy.
Attitude to children
Caring, loving, motherly, but also critical and guiding. Children tend to be stubborn, materialistic, possessive, and territorial.
Legal matters
Related to career, work, bosses and authority, and medicine. Complications can stem from a social event, or have a connection to inventions and technology.
Medicine/health
Feet, urinary tract, heart, blood pressure, lungs, calves, and the nervous system are all susceptible to health problems.
Dress, fashion, and clothes
Pisceans can be obsessive about clothes and select items that conceal and cover, while often sporting a solid, modest, and conservative look.
Attitude to death
Mystical, optimistic, and spiritual. Death is perceived as liberation.
Attitude to God
Open-minded, friendly, curious, unorthodox, free, mystical, and spiritual.
Attitude to the past/present
The Pisces’ past is delightful and love-related. The future is unknown, denied, and confused.
Time perception
Pisceans have no time perception and feel they have all the time in the world.
Sacrifice, relinquishment, confusion, and delusions
Delusions, mistakes, and sacrifice are a central motive for this sign. Missing out on opportunities and delusions are possible in connection with flights, computers, and high-tech.
