Valentine’s sex survey released
Average married couples engage in sexual activity 2-3 times a week; half of respondents say qualify of sex improves with years
TEL AVIV - A local sex survey undertaken ahead of Valentine’s Day reveals the average married Israeli couple engages in sexual activity 2-3 times a week.
New immigrants, however, said couples married for over five years have sex more frequently.
About 48 percent of the 500 survey respondents said they believe the quality of sex improves or stays the same over the years, but approximately 20 percent said the qualify of sex actually decreases.
Meanwhile, the survey found that the average sex act lasts 25 minutes, but those respondents aged 18-34 and enjoying higher incomes said their sexual activities last longer.
On a curious note, all age groups who took part in the survey said they are convinced they invest more effort into sex than other age groups.
