TEL AVIV - The establishment of a special judiciary unit to handle disengagement-related incitement and revolt is expected to be proposed at the next cabinet meeting Sunday by Justice Minister Tzipi Livni. The justice ministry is in the midst of preparing for withdrawal from the Gaza Strip and the northern West Bank and the anticipated incitement and revolt by anti-disengagement protestors. The proposed unit would be headed by attorney Shai Nitzan, the deputy state prosecutor, and run under the auspices of General Attorney Menachem Mazuz and State Prosecutor Eran Shendar. The newly established unit is set to cooperate fully with police, the Shi Bet General Security Services, and with the IDF. A source at the attorney general's office said he believes that as disengagement nears, the worse the situation will get, as anti-disengagement protestors gear up for the fight. Livni has said in the past that no one would be permitted to break the law. "We are in a situation where insubordination is becoming more and more legitimate when public figures call for insubordination at such a sensitive time - it is an offense, and an investigation should be launched." Livni told the press.
