Settlers hurt 3 Palestinians
About 40 yeshiva students attack eight Palestinians working in settlement north of Ramallah Thursday; three Palestinians lightly wounded
Three Palestinians sustained light injuries after being assaulted by a group of settlers north of Ramallah Thursday.
A senior IDF official told Ynet the settlers nearly lynched the Palestinians.
"We are talking about a serious act perpetrated by a group of law-breakers against Palestinians who had permits to work at the community," he said.
Thursday morning, some 40 yeshiva students who study in the settlement of Nachliel began stoning and assaulting a group of eight Palestinians working at the West Bank community.
Two of the injured Palestinians sustained wounds to their limbs, while another one suffered head injuries. All three were taken to hospital for treatment.
Police officers subsequently arrived at the scene and launched an investigation into the incident.
Meanwhile, one suspect was detained in connection with the attack.
