Yelena Bovilov, 54, from the West Bank settlement of Kedumim was rushed to Soroka hospital in Beer Sheva in serious condition after torching herself in protest of the pullout plan.

According to police, the woman has been standing since morning hours near a checkpoint on the western outskirts of the southern town of Netivot. She refused water offered to her by police forces, officials said.
Later police noticed that the woman was on fire and rushed to her aid with water containers. The fire was extinguished and medics were dispatched the area.
Hospital officials reported that the woman arrived in serious condition with burns covering 60 percent of her body. The woman was hospitalized in the Trauma Unit and is expected to undergo a series of operations.
A hospital official confirmed the woman torched herself to " protest of the disengagement from Gaza.”
